How gift-list information is used

Gifts Omnux stores the information needed to run shared gift lists: account names, email addresses if provided, gift ideas, notes, group membership, family relationships, and notes about who plans to buy or has already bought a gift.

People receiving gifts do not see who plans to buy or bought items from their own lists. Other people in the same group may see that someone is getting an item, depending on the item and group settings.

Email addresses are used for account messages, invitations, reminders you turn on, and important notices such as when an item you planned to buy is removed. Group helpers can send messages through the site, but normal users do not see other people's email addresses.

The site uses cookies to keep you logged in and to protect forms from misuse.
